Brooke's Point, Palawan

In September 2021, 400 solar powered headlamps were distributed via helicopter to 14 remote communities in deepest parts of the jungle of Brooke’s Point, Palawan. Among the recipients of the lights were schools, the donation and distribution of the headlamps provided access to education for many different communities. This distribution would not be possible without the partnership of the amazing people behind The Jungle Project, Jasper Ivan Itturiaga and Jenica Dizon. This distribution was successful due to the efforts and collaboration of One Million Lights BSM, One Million Lights ISM, Kids for Kids PH, and our partners at Namene Solar.
