In Collaboration with Mangrove Movement PH, an organization whose mission is to "improve the lives of Filipinos by planting mangroves and raising awareness of its importance to the environment" the ISM One Million Lights Youth Chapter supplied 24 solar powered headlamps to river rangers and fishermen in Noveleta, Cavite.
The river rangers and fishermen previously used old, bulk, battery-powered miner helmets to aid in catching crabs during low tide. However with these new solar headlamps will help them move around more easily and allow them to do their tasks more effectively with its 15 hours of battery life.
